In order to sell Season Ticket seats you must always sign in to the Newcastle United Seat Exchange. If you are confirmed as an approved Seasoncard holder, a list of the remaining fixtures for the season will load on your screen.

Disabled and carer Seasoncard holders can take advantage of an exchange service directly with the Club. Please call the Newcastle United Box Office on +44 (0) 191 261 1571 for further details.




List Your Seat(s)
Select the match that you would like to sell your seat(s) for. Click on the Sell Tickets link, which will bring up your personal menu, showing your ticket availability for all the remaining fixtures in the season. Click on the Listing Number for the ticket you wish to list, and then select Activate to make the ticket(s) available for qualifying supporters to purchase.

You can list your seat(s) for any match at anytime, provided it is more than 72 hours before the fixture when the Newcastle United Seat Exchange will close. Newcastle United is announcing its prices for the 2008/09 season on a match-by-match basis, and therefore the price of your ticket(s) will not be displayed until the match category is confirmed by the Club. Tickets are then available for purchase when tickets go on-sale from the Club's own ticket office (between 2-6 weeks before the match), at which point the BUY button will become active.

When in your account, you can also make changes to previous listings, provided that have not already expired or been purchased by selecting De-List. Listing on the Newcastle United Seat Exchange is free and you will not be charged until your seat(s) has been sold. You can also withdraw your seat(s) from sale at anytime prior to purchase by selecting Deactivate on the Event page within your account.



When Your Seat Is Purchased
Your seat(s) will remain on the Newcastle United Seat Exchange until they are purchased by a fellow Seasoncard holder or registered supporter before the fixture closes or you remove the listing. When your seat is purchased, subjected to you providing us with an updated email address, you will receive an email confirming the sale, the refund you will receive, and that your Seasoncard(s) has been de-activated for the match you sold on the Newcastle United Seat Exchange.

The Newcastle United Seat Exchange will close 72 hours before kick-off for each match. If your seat(s) has not been purchased by this time, you will still be able to use your Seasoncard for the match if you wish and it will not be de-activated.

Getting paid
When your seat(s) sells on the Newcastle United Seat Exchange, there is nothing else you need to do except receive your payment. A cheque for average price you have paid for your seat(s) minus the 10% seller fee will be sent to you by post 14 days after the match.

The amount refunded per ticket sold on the Newcastle United Seat Exchange is calculated as the average match price of your Seasoncard minus the Seller Fee of 10% plus VAT. For example:

Season Card Price: £658.00
Average Match Price: £34.63
Seller Fee: £3.46
VAT on Seller Fee: £0.52
Refund per Ticket: £30.65
